The magic of these two magical words: output (product) and outcome (real benefit) is amazing.

The government’s principle of installing toilets and implementing them on the ground is the physical fulfillment of the task in the form of a product OUTPUT. This is the output. The benefits resulting from this consequential physical process are huge like reduction in diseases, reduction in crime, adherence to cleanliness, and increase in the components of quality homes, are called OUTCOME.
