This big company is situated in Midwest of USA in city of Columbus, after Spanish seller, Christopher Columbus, who was on way to India reached North America in 17th century.

Columbus is situated in mid west of USA which is around four hours drive down South from Chicago town.This small town has a population of around just 40,000 and is filled with employees of decision making US Major, Cummins Inc which is an Engine maker company.

Towns in USA normally are rich in legacy of farms and scenic beauties with lakes, rivers and all, but the city of Columbus in Indiana state of USA is full of lakes, large farm fields, river creeks, parks, lush green plateaus and a technology headquarter wherein, On-road, and off-road engines are manufactured in large numbers which are supplied in all across the globe.
Way above the line of Cancer, this part of earth is rich in natural beauty with a variety of trees, shrubs and flowering plants all across the roads, colonies, in-lanes and near lakes and rivers.

This small town Columbus has wide spread area with offices, speciality clinics, grocery malls, hotels, cinema theatre and premium malls as well, which seem like a superior position for the size of the city.
City Columbus is a beautiful experience through dissipated road, disciplined traffic, cycling trails, walking trails and picturesque houses specifically which are outstretched with a vibrant forefront yard and a backyard with lush green grass with one or two maple tree which are USP of this Hamlet. Millrace ground is a place good enough for all age groups where a pond is a good place to sit and meditate. Cultural activities are held in here and people go walking along the track and creek.

This small town cum village is rich in heritage as it has conceptualised the motor engine run on diesel by a persons called Clessie Cummins and William Irwin. Cummins patented his diesel engine in `1921.s
His partner William Irwin took responsibility of company’s finance and since 1920 Cummins is a top engine maker from 2 Litres to 50 Litres Engine size for not only cars, trucks, semi trucks but also Off road excavators and other Huge machines.
It’s a US$30 billion company has its headquarters in this Hamlet and is harbouring employees from all across the globe as immigrants.
It does have an airport, a museum, State level universities, namely Purdue and Indiana, and have added a colourful feature to the cap of Columbus .Indian community is living here in large number who are working in Cummins Inc. This place also has a Ganesh temple which celebrates all Hindu festivals through the year.

Like national Parks, Columbus, Indiana has brown county State Park which is the largest Indiana state park spread in around 15,000 square facility which was operational since 1929. This wide spread state park has earmarked trails which are ideal for those who prefer to roam around in the park on foot or on horseback or by bicycle.
The parks presents, several picnic areas which have shelters equipped with fireplaces and comfort stations, with relaxing benches to sit up on.One can enjoy camping fishing, hiking, mountain biking and picnic and widespread areas of this brown brown county state park.
Eating outlets are plenty in number in this small area as Mexican, European , American food is available to taste something new. Even Indian food joints also are operational where one can lick his fingers with tasty and spicy food stuff.
