150 Years old all Iron-bridge with 100% Iron Grill Floor at Cincinnati…..

1867 is way too back when an ace engineer made an all iron bridge which still is functional after facing 150 years of variety of weather and still standing tall and sturdy. A good number of cars and mini trucks pass through it all through the day.
This suspension bridge on Ohio river connects Cincinnati Ohio to Covington, Kentucky.
It is 1057 feet long with the running floor also made of iron grills. No Coaltar or cement has been used in it which surprises an onlooker. When four wheelers pass through this bridge bed an iron sound gives a thumping music with car tyres that not only threatens but surprises, How since last 150 odd years, this suspension bridge is standing erect and still functional. It’s simply unimaginable that an iron led structure is standing this long under changing weather all through the year being under scorching sun, rain, snow and all possible thick and thin of mother nature and life.

It does have a thumping structure with walkways on either sides of the bridge and this walkway is so wide that two cyclists can move on it from one way and to the another.
Down below the bridge is Ohio River which is kept clean with no Ghat like structure though kids and boys were seem swimming in it. The river has water Scooter, mini and mid-sized boats which ferry the visitors from one point to another giving a Revered River Drive .

This part of river is near downtown area where all corporate offices are situated in huge skyscrapers. Even two big auditoriums and premium stadiums also are situated in the very same downtown area. On weekdays parking is not an easy task in this area but on weekends one may get parking with parking fee taken by unmanned machine toll poll through a credit card for few hours.
The city Cincinnati is called with many names like Queen city, City of seven Hills, City of Neil Armstrong, Porcopollis, City of blue chip and birthplace of Steven Spielberg .
It was a big place to process pork flesh as once upon a time around 50 odd processing units were there .

A big Hindu Temple is main point of attraction for any Indian in Cincinnati. This temple is situated in 20 acres of land with ample space for fair, fest and parking. This huge temple building does have auditorium and the temple has deities from all sects like Shaives, Vaishnavs, Jains etcetera.
Along with God Vishnu, Shiv and Brahma, Goddess, Saraswati , Durga and Lakshmi are also displayed in huge sculpture with gold finish all around. Jagannath Temple’s replica with Krishna, Baldev and with Subhadra also is placed giving heart pleasing look and pious feeling .
A circumvent Parikrama gives a fullness in heart just like God Ganesha made a Parikrama around his parents Shiva and Parvathi.

And temple is kept clean and tidy with all modern amenities and qualities for Pilgrims who visit this temple. The timing of 12 PM to 7 PM and on the days of fair or cultural events when a good lot of Indians attend the Temple, a cop with all his possible gears also is appointed to secure safety and maintain law & order. It was an awesome experience to visit this temple in Cincinnati.
